Calzaghe rocked the Millenium Stadium

There were a few mutterings on the forums that Calzaghe had lost a lot of his power with age, and now relies on his speed and technique.
Well, he did again break a bone in his hand, so maybe he’s just becoming a bit more brittle, hence the softer punches, but as for speed…fuck this man is fast! Many think the referee stopped the fight too soon, but Calzaghe steamed into him at the end, getting in 36 punches without Manfedo returning a single one. He never had a chance - he’d have been ‘Lights Out’ in the next round anyway.
As for the other fights, I was really looking forward to seeing Enzo Maccarinelli. I nipped to the bar quickly before the start of the fight. Heard the bell go as the first round began, so turned to go back to my seat only to see his opponent lying on the deck, spark out!
