I work for The Wriemedia Partnership.  You’ve probably never heard of us.  Located literaly miles from anywhere, in a converted farm out-building, on a hill in Pembrokeshire.

We develop some of the most dynamic, and exciting web-based applications around at the moment, working with internationally recognised brands.

I work in the development side of things, but also spend a bit of time with web design.

I was a plain old web designer, back in the day, but coding kinda gets under your skin.  I used to program my old ZX81 as a 10 year old, and was always into computers, studying programming, but into art as well.  I thought that design and programming never really made good bedfellows.  I think I was torn between which discipline I should be concentrating on, until later on in life the internet happened, and along with it, web design evolved.  Web development was the perfect combination of design and programming.  So this was what I was meant to be doing!

Before, or just as this old internet thing was kicking off, I hadn’t quite cottoned on to what was going on, and at University I opted for the design route - in Fashion no less! A few years working in the Fashion industry was enough to send me scurrying back to my keyboard.  I thought it would be glamourous.  How naive?
